News & Plans.

"There’s a lot going on: we are celebrating the 30th Year anniversary of Doro Pesch’s career so we are touring the world since last year. On the 2nd and the 3rd of May we performed two special shows in her home town Dьsseldorf, Germany. What a great experience! Now we are touring Europe and then we’ll play some summer festivals.

Beside touring with Doro I’m doing shows with my band Clairvoyants and I’m composing the second album of my trio Luca Princiotta Band that will be realized in 2015.

I’m also producing and mixing other bands, projects, soundtrack and I teach music."

"Working with music means re-inventing yourself every day ..."

I honestly get inspired by things I have to do day by day. I’ve goals I want to achieve and to get things done you need to work daily. Music is my passion and my job and every day is a challenge. Working with music means re-inventing yourself every day, creating new things to do. I’ve the same approach to normal life as well. I try to be always curious about things that surround me, getting inspired from little details.

"... pure happiness!"

It’s a very satisfying feeling being able to play a song from the beginning to the end. It was pure happiness! And if you combine the satisfaction with the joy and the love of playing your instrument then you can be the happiest man on earth!

"I’ve chosen this life and I like the good and the bad of it."

I don’t remember the exact moment when I decide do to be a professional musician. It’s a passion that has grown in me year by year, more and more, until the point I noticed that doing music was the only thing I was able to do, so I didn’t have any other options!:).

Nothing really disappoints me in the music world. I’ve chosen this life and I like the good and the bad of it.

"Every person has a different story and the circumstances are always different."

Every person has a different story and the circumstances are always different. I can tell my personal story. My parents liked the fact I was learning to play an instrument but at first they didn’t like that fact I wanted to make a living only doing music. But they always supported me because they saw I was taking it seriously and giving my best to realize my dream. So I guess my suggestion is to give always your best in everything you love to do. People, family, friends will understand and will respect you.

"Realizing dreams makes you happy!"

Having dreams keeps people alive. Small or big dreams, they all matter. Realizing dreams makes you happy!

But I think it’s important to have also a realistic vision of life. Best is to have dreams and to have plans to realize them. My dream is to keep doing what I’m doing!:)

"... the hardest thing in music was learning how to speak English ..."

Nothing was really hard at the beginning because I really loved to spend hours and hours to get better and better and to get my projects going, but when I got my first international gig with Blaze Bayley I thought the hardest thing in music was learning how to speak English and even worse, trying to understand his British accent!!!:)

"The next day everything will be brighter than the day before."

The good thing about music is that even if you are going through a rough period you can always close the door of your room and playing, having fun, forgetting about problems. The next day everything will be brighter than the day before. Well, I guess this works for me… I use it like a therapy!

The best support for us musician is to have people that appreciate your hard work, your music, your playing, your style.

"By the way, I must say… I still like better the positive critics!:)"

I accept the fact that not everybody can like what I’m doing. In matters of taste, there can be no disputes. Even though I’ve learnt to understand what are the negative critics that actually make me think and improve myself and the other negative words that only sound like superficial thoughts of the reviewer.

By the way, I must say… I still like better the positive critics!:)

The most important things in life ...

"Being happy, doing things your way, having an eye on what’s happening around you."

"Music is the soundtrack of our lives."

I know music means a lot to me. It effects the way I live, the way I dress, the way I talk…

Music is the soundtrack of our lives. It helps people to keep going, it helps people to start a new day with a good vibe or it helps to save a bad day.

New world ...

"I would create the exact same Universe we’re living in but I would probably change some aspect of character of us human being!:)"

"I don’t have to do it… I want to do it."

Personally I always like reading music magazines. It could change your prospective. I remember I couple of years ago I was reading an interview to a famous artist and he was saying something like that: “Use the form “I want to do stuff” instead of “I have to do stuff”, it’s more positive and it makes you accomplish more.”

Believe it or not, from that day on I always think that way, I don’t have to do it… I want to do it.

Last words.

"Thank you for taking your time to read my words, thank you for the support and see you all soon on the road!"
